Our last major unit of the year was sculpture art. Students in 2nd-4th were able to create sculptures out of recycled items. They first sketched out their ideas and then constructed them!

Our 4th grade art club had a great time today at our field trip. We went to see student art and they enjoyed their Chick-fil-A lunch! Zoe had a chance to see her art hanging in the art gallery 🖼️

Thank you to all of the first grade families for coming out and supporting the Creighton fine arts programs. The music program and the art show were amazing!
We appreciate all the donations for CAMO Rescue Students loved learning about their rescue dogs and all of the important work that they do in our community!

This week, we learned about printmaking. We used “found objects” such as legos, blocks, marker caps and paper towel rolls to print on our papers. Students loved getting messy with this neon paint!

We collaborated with CAMO Rescue to teach our students the importance of animal rescues. Students learned about the stories of some of their adoptable dogs and we made art inspired by them!

Today was our first day introducing the “fiber studio.” Students were taught how to do paper weaving, a critical first step to working with fibers.
