Our little chefs enjoyed a fun apple pie in a cup no-bake cooking activity! The kids had a blast crushing graham crackers, scooping in apple pie filling, and creating their own little taste of fall in a cup! 🍎🥧

👓 Little Comets Community Connections: Eyecare Associates! 📚👀

We had a wonderful visit from Eyecare Associates as part of our September Community Connections! Dr. Monroe spent time with the kids, reading books and sharing a few fun things from the world of eye care. The kids got to see contact lenses up close and touch them, experience what it is like to wear glasses, and each kiddo received a coloring book to take home!

Thank you to Dr. Monroe and Eyecare Associates for spending time with our Little Comets and helping make learning about eye care fun and engaging! 💙🤓

We had a great visit from Black Hawk County Public Health as a part of the I-Smile program! The I-Smile program provides dental screenings, applies flouride, and educates children on oral health. We are proud to be a part of this important program that is a great benefit to our Little Comets! 🦷🪥💙
