📣 Important update for parents with teen drivers!

Starting Oct. 1, North Carolina is eliminating the Driving Eligibility Certificate requirement for teens applying for a Level 1 Limited Learner Permit. Keep in mind that they’ll still need to take a driver’s ed course and obtain a Driver Education Certificate, but after this date, they won’t need to bring a Driving Eligibility Certificate with them to get their permit.
