Our classmate John Colatch posted the following information on the passing of Anthony Keefer who taught Spanish at CAHS. Our deepest condolences go out to Mr. Keefer's family and friends.

"I just read a notice that our high school Spanish teacher, Anthony Keefer, died over the weekend. He was a good teacher and the class always had a cheerful character about it. Later, I got to know him in the Connellsville community Chorus. Rest in peace Tony."

Sadly, we have lost another classmate. Bruce Knopsnider left us on Saturday, February 7th in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Bruce was a member of the Future Farmers of America during his sophomore junior and senior years at CAHS. He later served as a leader with 4-H in addition to a number of other local organizations. Our deepest condolences go out to Bruce's family and friends during this time of mourning.

Robert Eugene Crawford "Bobby" (Deceased February 8, 2026, Born July 15, 1954)

It is with deep sadness to report that we've been informed by Sue Maier that our classmate Bob Crawford passed away yesterday (February 8th) in Puerto Rico from complications of pneumonia. In addition to being a member of the National Honor Society, Bob was a member of our Student Council (serving as vice president), President of his home room during his senior year, and was a participant in Frick Seminars (also as a senior). Bob was a true student athlete who played both football and baseball for the CAHS Falcons. Bob started at quarterback during the 1971 season and was also named Most Valuable Defensive Back. Our deepest condolences go out to Bob's family and friends during this period of grief.

I wanted to let our class know that Bob Crawford passed away yesterday in Puerto Rico. He was hospitalized recently and died from complications of pneumonia.

Richard L. Clevenger "Clevin" (Deceased January 1, 2026, Born September 7, 1954)

This morning we received a message (below) from Carl A. Johnson about the passing of our classmate Richard (Rick) Clevenger on January 1st of this year. Rick was a member of the projection crew during his sophomore year and the Ski Club as a junior. He also played on the tennis team in his sophomore and junior years. Rick aspired to attend Penn State University after graduating from CAHS. Unfortunately we do not have his senior portrait. Our deepest sympathies go out to Rick's family and friends.

Blast from the past - the CAHS Class of '72 Homecoming Court! Queen Debbie Bellus is crowned by Jerry Davidson and Class President Mark King as court members Mary Kubasky, Nancy Hanan, Claudia Welling and Chris Nicholson gather around her. Debbie was honored as one of the last sixty years of Homecoming Queens during Friday night's football game between Connellsville and Uniontown.
