Carpentry students have been hard at work at Dunbar Township Elementary where they worked to replace an aging swing set frame!

Students worked with the maintenance department to auger holes, then they poured footings, established grade levels, set posts and finally added the overhead beams and diagonal bracing. These new swings will be enjoyed by students at DTE for years to come!

Hello everyone! The 2026-2027 school year is off to a busy start in the Carpentry Program! Students have been busy working on a few picnic tables, memorial benches as well as fundraiser prototypes. Seniors have begun the senior shed project and are almost ready to begin wall framing. Be sure to give us a follow to stay up to date on everything Carpentry and to see what we will be selling in our fundraiser that will kick off in the next few weeks!!

If you have purchased any projects from Carpentry over the last 4 years, the 2026 Senior class thanks you! All profit made is distributed to the students to be spend during their senior shopping spree!

Today the 10 Carpentry Seniors each had an average of around $700 to spend at Stone and Company to help them gear up for their career in Carpentry!!

As always we want to send a huge thank you to Tim Lash and the employees at Stone & Co. Hardware in Connellsville for hosting the shopping spree and supplying us with materials year round!

Carpentry has you covered! We have a few leftover items ready for immediate pick up!!

-Bird Feeder: $100 Sold!!

-Pickup times are 7am-2pm every day until May 15th

-Accepted payment is Cash or Check payable to CACTC Carpentry

‼️FINAL ITEMS FOR SALE THIS SCHOOL YEAR‼️

💥We have a few fundraiser items that we want to clear out before the end of the school year!

💥Back by popular demand, we are making a LIMITED number of Transformer Tables! We will not be making anymore this year so be sure to reserve your items ASAP!

💰All prices and descriptions are under the photos

👀Be sure to look at all the photos! We have a wide variety of items to make sure your porch or patio is truly ready for summer! We will update the descriptions on this post as items are reserved!

‼️If the item(s) you are interested in are all sold or reserved, please still reach out via email. We can add you to our waitlist incase an item is not picked up or we happen to build more you will have first pick!

🪚All items are constructed with treated lumber and outdoor rated fasteners so they will look great for years to come!!

⚪️We do not offer delivery, all items will need to be picked up from the school during school hours.
