If you have purchased any projects from Carpentry over the last 4 years, the 2026 Senior class thanks you! All profit made is distributed to the students to be spend during their senior shopping spree!

Today the 10 Carpentry Seniors each had an average of around $700 to spend at Stone and Company to help them gear up for their career in Carpentry!!

As always we want to send a huge thank you to Tim Lash and the employees at Stone & Co. Hardware in Connellsville for hosting the shopping spree and supplying us with materials year round!

⚪️Shed Details: The shed measures 10.5’x16’. The shed features a treated wood base and treated wood floor. Black shingle roof and electrical installed that includes outlets, two interior lights and an exterior dusk to dawn light.

🥦Greenhouse details: The greenhouse measures 8’x12’. It features a treated wood base and floor, electric including lights, outlets, dusk to dawn lights, and an exhaust fan to regulate temperature. Inside there are shelves designed specifically for growing plants!

‼️How to bid‼️

💥Bidding opens now
⚪️Shed starting bid is $3,500
🥦Greenhouse starting bid is $3,000
💥To place a bid, send an email to [email protected]. In this email include your name, phone number, and bid amount. Please also specify which building you are bidding on.
💥All bids must be placed through email.
💥This post will continually be updated with what the current high bid is. We will notify you when/if you are outbid
💥Both auctions end on Friday April 24th at 9:00 AM.
💥The highest bidder of each building will be contacted shortly after and have 7 days to pay in full. (May 1st, 2026.) Payment accepted via cash or check
💥If not paid within 7 days of the auction close, the second highest bidder will be contacted.

A local shed moving company has committed to move either building for a flat rate of $200 each within 20 miles of the school. This includes set up on your property. Any distance over 20 miles will have to be discussed with the transporter.

All proceeds will reimburse the Carpentry Club account for materials. Any profit will benefit student accounts. (Starting bids are the material costs of each building.)

This morning, four 10th grade students from the Carpentry program installed a sign board they recently constructed for Cameron Park here in Connellsville. This board will be used to display information on all of the different species of plants the Connellsville Garden Club has planted in the park.

Hello all! We have been busy here at carpentry!

The senior projects are moving right along! The shed now has electric and its doors. The green house is ready for trim, an exhaust fan and some shelving inside. Both of these buildings will be auctioned off next month so be sure to give us a follow if interested in placing a bid!!

Underclassmen have been busy with a few community service projects. We recently finished two picnic table shelters for the Yough River Trail Council. We also built picnic tables for Franklin Township Community pool. Lastly we took in 8 metal frame benches that needed restored. Carpentry removed the old wood, the frames were sent to be sand blasted then a collaboration effort from the Welding shop and the Auto Collision shop got the bases looking as good as new!! Carpenty students then added the new seat and back boards to complete the project

Carpentry is taking advantage of the heat wave today!

10th grade students put the finishing touches on the last of 4 picnic tables that will be placed at the Bullskin Township Little Leauge Field.

Seniors are working hard on their senior projects. The shed is now painted and is starting to get trim work. The greenhouse has its roof, the screen door is now installed and the side panels are starting to go on, of course after some snow removal!! These buildings will be put up for sale/auction this spring so give us a follow to stay updated!!!
