Reminder: Meet the Teacher/Open House appointments are being scheduled for next Monday, Aug. 24 and Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Conneaut Area City Schools is moving to a NEW form of communication at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. ALL buildings will be using the Conneaut Area City Schools app.

Class Dojo will no longer be used.

To get started:
- Download the CACS app from the Apple or Google Play Store
- Allow ALL notifications so you do not miss important messages or anouncements
- Sign in using the email address or phone number that is listed on Final Forms

That's a wrap on Week #1 of Kindergarten Boot Camp! 🍎

Not only are the students getting exposure to academics, but they are also getting practice with important routines at school! These kids will be experts on navigating the lunch line when the first day of school rolls around. Special treat today, ICE CREAM! 🍦

🥨 Thank you to Elizabeth Gillette for helping us secure our snacks for Boot Camp.

🚌 Thank you to Carly Strader for ensuring we could offer bus transportation for this program! Thank you to Renae Picard for being our bus driver & Lana Ensman for being our bus aide for the week.

Attention Little Spartans (and families): There is still time to get to the Conneaut Library today to take part in their kickoff for Summer Reading (until 5:00 p.m.). You'll find the library filled with super fun Disney themed decorations and activities!

Mrs. Brockway & Mrs. Distelrath challenge all our students to join in the Summer Reading Program with us! 📚 Let's see if Lakeshore can be the school with the most students participating!! 😁🙌

Kindergarten Boot Camp Day #2 included:

👟 Group PT complete with crab walking, an obstacle course, and ball sort to practice gross motor skills such as balance and coordination.

✂️ Group OT focused on those fine motor skills with lots of coloring, cutting, and using a squeeze bottle.

🐢 Also included, a sneak peek into the Turtle class and the fun they were having today! 😊

Kindergarten Boot Camp 2026 is off to a great start! 🤩 During Boot Camp, students learn "the ropes" of being a kindergartener. This will give them an amazing head start to the school year!
