SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
-Good morning, CAMS!
This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, and October 10th annually is World Mental Health Day. This year’s theme is “real voices, real change.” Many people struggle with their mental health, and the best way to support them is to listen to their stories. The more we listen, the more we learn, and the more we learn, the more we can help make meaningful change. One way you can always help is to advocate for policies that help improve access to local and global mental health services. Pay attention to your local politicians as well as what’s being said at a national level: are we moving towards a supportive, caring community? If not, take the time to reach out and express your thoughts to those in charge - it’s the easiest way to help everyone’s voices be heard! Remember, if you or someone you know is struggling with their mental health, there is always help available. Every adult in this building can help connect you or your friends or your family to support. Real voices help make real change. Think about how you can help today!
-And now back to you!
