Anderson Families, Save the Date!

Anderson Elementary families are invited to join our new Principal, Mrs. Candis Holt, for our Principal’s Town Hall on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM in the Anderson Elementary cafeteria.

This will be an opportunity for our families to connect with Mrs. Holt, hear more about the vision and priorities for Anderson, and learn how we can continue working together to support the success of every student.

Your voice and partnership matter, and we look forward to welcoming you as we Chart the Course Together!

Anderson Elementary welcomes new principal Ms. Holt!

Dear Anderson Elementary School Families and Community,
Welcome to Jewell C. Anderson Elementary School!
It is truly an honor to serve as the Principal of Anderson Elementary School. As a proud Clayton County native whose own educational journey began in this community, serving our students, families, faculty, and staff is more than a professional opportunity it is a meaningful full-circle moment.
At Anderson, I believe every student deserves to be known, supported, challenged, and provided with opportunities to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our work is grounded in maintaining high expectations for teaching and learning while creating a school environment where students feel valued, supported, and excited about their educational journey.
I believe the success of our school is strengthened through meaningful partnerships between home, school, and community. Families are an essential part of the work we do, and your voice, involvement, and partnership matter. Together, we will celebrate what makes Anderson special, build upon the strong foundation already established, and continue identifying opportunities that move our school forward.
As Principal, my commitment is to lead with purpose, listen and learn, communicate openly, support our faculty and staff, and remain focused on what matters most - our students. I am excited about what lies ahead for Anderson Elementary School and all that we will accomplish together.
At Anderson, excellence is not simply a goal, it is the expectation for every student, every day.
Your Proud Principal,

Candis J. Holt, Ed.S.
