Applewood Pottery

Applewood Pottery Classes are offered to paint or glaze ceramic pieces for holiday decorations, household items. Weekly classes:
Wednesday 1 - 4pm and Thursday 7 - 10pm.

Classes start back up after Labor Day! We have many ceramic pieces to pick from and a certified teacher to help you create your master piece! Come learn some fun techniques to paint and glaze! Public is welcomed to come and visit me by appointment or during open classes.

Want to unleash your inner artist and paint a patriotic Uncle Sam Pot that's so cool, it'll make everyone else green with envy? Celebrate 250 years of freedom by decorating your entry way or porch with this adorable guy! You can even add a plant or whatever crazy thing you'd like to the top pot! I'm hosting a class on Thursday evening June 18th at 6:30pm to show you how to paint this masterpiece. Pattern and paints included, just bring your own clean clay pot and a willingness to get a little messy. When you register, I'll give you a list of supplies needed. Class is $22 a person. Don't have time to come to class and want to DIY? Just contact me and you can purchase the pattern to make it on your own.

I invite you to join me on April 29th at 6:30pm to make these plant stakes and flower frog designed for a wide mouth mason jar. You will be creating 5 textured plant stakes and a flower frog. You’ll also be applying underglazes to your pieces. Following that, I’ll bisque fire them, add clear glaze, and refire. They will be ready by Mother’s day, perfect for a gift for Mom!💕
The cost is $30, per person. So make a memory and invite Mom to come along!
