While most schools are quiet and dark in the summer, West Jeff Elementary is just bustling with activity!

🛝 Innovation Learning is providing daily care for preschool & school age students with fun activities both at school and on field trips!

🎨Staff is painting & decorating rooms and spaces - wait until you see the newly painted and re-designed front office, the updated library paint, Mrs. Coffey’s freshly painted and decorated room & Mrs. Yoho’s beautiful purple office!

🪑And last, but so very exciting, all the new furniture has been delivered and installed! Brand new desks, chairs, bookcases, tables & seating for all K-5 classrooms, our AN center classroom AND the library! Our West Jeff staff voted and decided on the most beautiful colors and designs of furniture; and we can’t wait for our students and community to see it!

Thanks to grants from Jeffco Schools Foundation, Westerra Credit Union, Conifer Newcomers & Neighbors, as well as funds from our Fun Run, our 5th grade Garden CREW updated our school garden. With support of volunteers Ms. Susie and Ms. Sarah, and with guidance from Principal Brady, students did research, wrote proposals, and helped order supplies. Once everything was delivered we called in some muscle to support our FM, Mr. Steve - thank you Mr. Cody & Mr. Michael! Updates to the garden include:
🌷a new shed with shaded seating area
🌷a new bench for seating
🌷 15 flexible outdoor seats
🌷 a new tree with netting
🌷 customized garden stones for each Garden CREW student
🌷new bird feeders and houses

We can’t wait for all our students to use and enjoy our updated school garden! Thank you donors and volunteers!

We loved welcoming back our graduating Conifer High School seniors for a Senior Breakfast and the chance to reconnect with the teachers and staff who helped shape their journey from the very beginning. Seeing hugs, smiles, and memories shared in the library was truly priceless.

The best part? Our seniors jumped right back into elementary life — joining 1st grade PE, laughing with students, and enjoying one more romp on the playground. For a little while, they were kids here again. 🛝🏃‍♀️

We are so proud of the incredible young adults they have become and can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for the Class of 2026. Once a West Jeff Bobcat, always part of our school family.
