Hello Gryphon Community! Present Age Ministries has spots available for their Discovering Your Value Prevention Program. This program is to serve and engage at-risk young women on their level to address common areas of concern (cultural influence, self-image, romantic and non-romantic relationships, s*x, and dreams/future). This program is 8 weeks long and starts October 4, 2021. Please go to the website, demonstrated in the picture attached to this post, for more information and to register.

Hello Gryphon Community: Cabarrus County Schools will be hosting an event with Deona Frierson on April 30th and May 7th. Mrs. Frierson will talk with students at noon, and parents at 6. Mrs. Frierson will provide tangible healthy coping skills for students to use during their teen years. Research has shown that kids who lack healthy coping skills are more likely to act out and pursue unhealthy coping strategies. We are hopefully nearing the end of this global pandemic, but this time has been filled with anxiety and stress for many adults. Mrs. Frierson will address those topics with parents in the evening session.
