❄️ Welcome, December Vacation! 🦉

December vacation runs from December 24 – January 4. We hope all our Alcott students, families, and staff enjoy a restful, cozy, and joyful break!

📚 We’ll see everyone back at school on Monday, January 5, 2026.

📚 Grade 2 wrapped up their first literacy module in the new EL curriculum, The Wide World of Schools, with these powerful class pledges and crests. Students worked side by side with focus, care, and a real sense of purpose—thinking deeply about what it means to make the most of their right to an education. This culminating task truly epitomizes the core values of the EL program: collaboration, student voice, purposeful learning, and high-quality work that matters beyond the classroom. Huge shout-out to our Grade 2 educators and students for leaning into the challenge of a new curriculum and bringing this meaningful work to life!

Thank you for the incredible generosity of our community! During the Month of Giving, we raised $13,287.92 for the Alcott Annual Appeal, with 93 families contributing. Your support funds the events, resources, and experiences that make our school special—from beloved community gatherings and enrichment programs to essential supplies and classroom materials that help every child thrive. Though the Month of Giving has ended, donations are welcome year-round. With 405 students across 298 families, every contribution helps sustain traditions and create new opportunities. METCO Family Friends @ Launch Trampoline Park
80’s-Themed Outing!

Join us for a totally rad METCO Friends event at Launch Trampoline Park (17 Chris Drive, Framingham) on Wednesday, Dec 17 from 2–4 PM!

Families are welcome to come help chaperone.
🚌 Transportation will be available to Launch, and back to Alcott/CMS or Boston for students who need it.
🍕 Food will be provided!
