10 Years of Concord A’s Baseball ❤️⚾️

With the baseball season being officially over and all our teams are finished for the year, I wanted to reflect as this year marks a special milestone — the Concord A’s 10th anniversary. What began in 2015 as our first 8U team has now come full circle, as that original group has completed its final season with seven seniors.
Personally, it’s truly bittersweet to look back on this journey — coaching these boys through the years and watching them grow into young men ready to take on new adventures.

A heartfelt thank you to all the players for your hard work, dedication, and constant drive to improve your skills, your game IQ, and your teamwork. You’ve made us proud every step of the way.

Special thanks to Jason Oehler and Jeremy Teeter for your service and leadership over the years. You’ve both carried the heart of this organization, always keeping what’s best for the players at the forefront.

I’m grateful for our organization’s coaches, parents, and players across all age levels — your commitment and work ethic speak volumes about your love for the game and the A’s team spirit.

Enjoy the well-deserved break, and I can’t wait to see what next year brings! 💚💛

Concord Athletics 8U & 9U Team Tryouts - FALL 2025
Both teams will be playing in 4-5 tournaments this fall. Each team will be working together to build skills that transfer to the spring as well as pitching mechanics work.

8U & 9U Tryout Dates: Tuesday, July 22nd from 7pm - 9pm
8U - Field 2 (Middle Field)
9U - Field 1 (Field closest to Fire Station)

Summer Camps start Saturday June 7th with free Chevy Baseball camp at Kannapolis Cannon Ballers with instruction by Core staff and Concord A’s college players!!

New team forming to extend this spring season and play 3 travel ball tournaments.

Players may attend one or both.

Dates: Wednesday, May 14th from 7pm - 9pm and Saturday May 17th from 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

Location: Winecoff Elementary School Ball Fields, 330 Stewart St., Concord, NC 28027 (Field 3 - far field, beside the playground)

Players cannot turn 9 prior to May 1st, 2025.

Our Concord 8u team will be playing TopGun tournaments this summer to add more baseball for this season.
