The MVHS Pride of the Valley Marching Band has been invited to perform in the Andover 4th of July Parade as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration 🇺🇸🎶

The parade committee is offering over $1000 for the band’s participation, making this an exciting opportunity to support the MV music program while representing our community.

Current students AND alumni are invited to participate!

📅 Saturday, July 4

Schedule:
🕙 10:00 AM - Rehearsal at MV
🚌 10:30 AM - Bus departs for Andover
🎺 11:00 AM - Line up
🇺🇸 12:00 PM - Parade step off
🏁 Parade expected to finish around 1 PM

There will still be plenty of time afterward to enjoy cookouts and other 4th of July festivities!

The band director, Ms. D’Antico will allow lyres and flipbooks at this parade.

What you will play: Patriotic Parade Sequence
What you will wear and bring:
* Khaki shorts
* MV regalia (blue polos recommended but anything MV related will be fine)
* Comfortable supportive shoes
* Instrument
* Lyre (if owned)
* WATER!

Music will be distributed the morning of.
