Last week we tested and retested and make-up tested….over 2800 EOGs administered during our window, more than any elementary or middle school (and maybe high school haha) in Cabarrus Co! We are grateful for our APs/testing coordinators who manage to keep things organized and running smoothly and to our staff members who go with the flow and work as a team to give each student a safe, warm environment for assessments. Thank you also to our parents who got kids to school and on time….we always have amazing attendance during testing! ❤️

But school is more than testing and we are especially thankful for teachers who kept finding creative ways to teach and engage during these long days with weird schedules and who work tirelessly to make valuable memories down to the very last day.

It’s been a great year and we are all so lucky to be Odell Dragons!

We celebrated our amazing cafeteria staff on May 8th since we were out on School Heroes Day! Alison Hendren and staff were treated to Petalcakes at Gibson Mill in gratitude for all they do for us!!

We may be in testing mode but we are still finding time to make memories and make learning fun! 8 more days in the year….let’s make them count!!
