Hello Dragons!
We had a wonderful kick off for our monthly house meetings today! Students gathered by house in the bus lot and then moved to their assigned meeting place where they learned about their house mascot, their team traits, how to support each other and engage with their goals! Our fifth grade students even got some additional training on how to be leaders in the building and at future team meetings! And of course there was lots of dressing up and cheering—thanks to all of the Dragons who decked out in house colors! Hopefully t-shirts will be here by October 9th!!

If you missed Tuesday night’s board meeting, you have to go back and watch the recorded section of the School Performance Grade presentation! 📺✨

Mr. Sain broke down the numbers, and what our school has accomplished is mind-blowing: Odell has achieved back-to-back #1 elementary rankings in the entire state! 🏆🥇

He explained how maintaining the top spot two years in a row is almost completely unprecedented in North Carolina. It speaks volumes about the unbelievable hard work of our students, the relentless dedication of our teachers, and the incredible support from all of you at home.

The Dragons of Odell did an amazing job singing the National Anthem at the Cannon Ballers game this evening! What a wonderful way to wrap up the first few weeks of school! 💚🖤💛

We are excited to have our amazing PTA partnering with Outback at Concord Mills again this year! Each month they sponsor a full dinner for two staff members to recognize them for their contributions to the school.
