Today we celebrated our P2 Student of the Month recipients for August! 🎉

This month, we recognized students who demonstrated Other People’s Mindset (OPM), Curiosity, and Teamwork. These students are showing us what it looks like to care about others, stay curious and eager to learn, and work together to make our school community stronger. 💚

We are so proud of all of our students who are putting character into action every day! 🌟The Positivity Project

One Book/One School. Kindergarteners and fifth graders reading the same story at the same time.

At Patriots Elementary in Cabarrus County Schools, this initiative means character work and STEM work can happen in the same lesson rather than compete for time.

Families also got the same materials their children were using in class, so the conversation carried on at home.

Our newly elected Student Leadership Team is already putting their leadership skills into action! 💙

After a meeting filled with learning, decision-making, and problem-solving, our student leaders practiced and prepared a teamwork lesson they’ll soon bring back to their homerooms.

We’re so proud to see these students stepping up, working together, and leading with purpose! ⭐
