✨ Imagination came to life at The Walt Disney Family Museum! 🎨🏰

Our Community Connections members enjoyed an incredible Character Design Workshop, where they learned how animators use emotions, shapes, sizes, personalities, and storytelling to create unforgettable characters. A special congratulations to three of our members who bravely volunteered to present their original characters, sharing their names, backstories, and the creative choices behind their designs.

The experience continued with a hands-on Touch Tour, where members explored exclusive 3D models that brought the museum’s stories and animation history to life. It was a magical day filled with creativity, confidence, and inspiration! 💙🧡✨

At Adaptive Learning Center, our Tailored Day Services supported Sky in our Multimedia Department by discovering their talents, building skills, and fostering creativity, and Skylix is a wonderful example of that in action!

These incredible photos were captured and edited by Skylix, showcasing a creative eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling through photography. From vibrant flowers and breathtaking landscapes to stunning silhouettes and portraits, each image reflects both artistic vision and growing technical skills.

📸 Celebrating Disability Pride Through Creativity! 🌈🎨

This past weekend, several of our talented members proudly showcased and sold their artwork at the East Bay Innovations Disability Pride Month Art Sale! It was an incredible opportunity for our artists to share their creativity, connect with the community, and celebrate the talents and contributions of people with disabilities.

We’re so proud of each artist who represented the Adaptive Learning Center with confidence, passion, and pride.

A heartfelt thank you to East Bay Innovations for inviting us to be part of this meaningful event and for creating a space where artists with disabilities can shine. Opportunities like these help build a more inclusive community while empowering individuals to share their gifts with the world.

🎨🖌️ Creativity, community, and inclusion made for an unforgettable evening!

Our members had an amazing time attending Paint Night with the City of Brentwood Inclusion Program at Created By You Art Studio in Brentwood, CA. Everyone enjoyed expressing their creativity, trying new painting techniques, and creating unique masterpieces in a fun and welcoming environment.

A huge thank you to the City of Brentwood Inclusion Program and the wonderful team at Created By You Art Studio for hosting such an inclusive and enjoyable event. We love partnering with organizations that create opportunities for people of all abilities to connect, create, and build lasting memories.

When the Concord heat turned up, our members headed for the coast to beat the heat! 🌊☀️

We spent the day at Pacifica Taco Bell Beach, enjoying Taco Bell with an unbeatable ocean view before taking a relaxing stroll along the shoreline. Members loved watching the surfers catch waves, feeling the cool ocean breeze, and soaking in a refreshing change of scenery.

Sometimes the best way to recharge is to step outside your routine, connect with nature, and share great moments with friends. Days like these remind us that community, adventure, and inclusion go hand in hand.

Here’s to making memories, staying cool, and embracing everything our beautiful Bay Area has to offer! 💙🌮🏄‍♂️

What an unforgettable day at Oracle Park! Thanks to the San Francisco Giants sponsorship, 35 of our members had the opportunity to attend the Giants vs. A’s game together.

For several of our members, this was their very first Major League Baseball game, for others their first time at Oracle Park! An experience filled with excitement, community, and memories they’ll never forget. From cheering in the stands and taking in the incredible views of Oracle Park to sharing laughs with friends, the day was truly special.

To top it all off… the Giants brought home the win! 🎉⚾

A heartfelt thank you to the San Francisco Giants for making experiences like this possible. Opportunities to build friendships, explore our community, and create lifelong memories mean so much to the people we support.
