Congrats to our wrestlers at the North Coast Masters Tournament and some hard fought matches, and a special congrats to freshmen wrestlers Carlie Wong 3-2 and Lydia Vimo 2-2 making day two to the blood round.

Brought more well deserved hardware home yesterday at the tough Goddess of the Vine Tournament at Clayton Valley Charter HS. These freshman ladies are the next generation of Lady Wrestlers at Berean Christian High School.

The 14th Annual MLK right of passage Day was a huge success. The clock is right minus 1:20 for transitions from one element to another. 9.5 miles of running, 400 pushups, 720 plate pushers, 1020 flutter kicks, 10 minutes leg holds, 9 minutes wall sits, 10 minutes planks, 10 minutes Mtn. climbers, 100 dumbbell press, 100 bicep curls, 5 minutes crucifixion db holds, 100 lunges, 200 yards of sprints, 100 yard x2 zig zag Indian run with dumbbells. (This is where cramps ran rampant but the coaches took care of those and we resumed like it didn’t happen). Talk about being proud!! Finished with a food party and fellowship. This day is in the books!! . GoEagles!

Congrats to the team for their hard work and efforts at today’s tournament hosted by Mt. Diablo HS in Concord. It paid off with several bringing home the hardware. Let’s keep it rolling everybody.

Today’s wrestling tournament in Brentwood was a success with all of our wrestlers winning multiple matches and taking home 6 1st Pl. medals, 3 2nd Pl. medals, and 2 3rd Pl. medals, and our ladies did exceptional after wrestling at a tough tournament yesterday!! Several of our lady wrestlers even wrestled five matches today, a special shout out to Lydia Vimo (center lower row),for wrestling five matches today and pinning all of her opponents, plus her 3-1 performance yesterday. Outstanding.

These Freshman wrestlers had an incredible day today in Concord. Our 115Lb. Wrestler took second with a 3-1 with three pins record. Others won some incredible matches as well but missed the medal round. First time for the program to have back to back tournaments so these lady wrestlers will be back it again tomorrow in Brentwood for another chance at medaling.

Congratulations to freshman Carlie Wong on taking 6th place at the highly esteemed Brittany David Women’s Varsity Wrestling Invitational today.

The BCHS wrestling program was blessed to have this for its first 12 years, yes 30ft high, until the facilities insurance company said this was a no-go. Working on putting up the 20ft tall peg board this coming season.
