St. Agnes School

St. Agnes School St. Agnes Elementary and Middle School Agnes Catholic School opened its doors in 1967 under the direction of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.

We are a community of families bonded in faith. Our primary goal is to foster the spiritual and intellectual development of each student. We believe in our students and all that each can become. We treasure their individual gifts. Agnes, as a PeaceBuilder® school, provides a caring environment that values:

🚲 TOMORROW IS WHEEL-A-THON DAY! 💚🧡

A few important reminders to help the day run smoothly:

Drop-off and pickup procedures will be different. Please review the maps on the school website before arriving.

- Preschool pickup will take place at the flag pole.
- There will be no parking available on campus.
- Students should bring their helmets to school inside their backpacks.
- Please clearly label BOTH your child’s bike and helmet with their name and grade.
- Athletic free dress is allowed—please follow all free-dress guidelines in the school handbook and wear closed-toed shoes.
- Students should bring their water bottles as they would on a normal school day.
- Lunch will be provided.
- Remember, it is a half day of school!

We can’t wait to see our students ride, have fun and celebrate everything they’ve accomplished.

🚲💚 Wheel-a-Thon Throwback! 💛

A look back at two of our littlest St. Agnes students getting their first taste of the Wheel-a-Thon fun! Our Preschoolers joined in by walking the course, giving them a chance to experience one of our favorite St. Agnes traditions before they even reach Kindergarten. 🥹

These are the moments that make our community so special. From Preschool through 8th grade, our students grow up celebrating traditions together, supporting one another, and making memories they’ll carry with them for years to come.

This is St. Agnes. A community supporting our community, growing together in faith, friendship, and tradition. 💚💛

☘️ It’s Wheel-a-Thon Week! 🚲

We’re throwing it back as we get ready for one of our favorite St. Agnes traditions! Wheel-a-Thon is THIS FRIDAY! 🎉

Over the years, Wheel-a-Thon has brought generations of our St. Agnes community together for a day filled with school spirit, fun, and plenty of laps around the track. 🚲✨

Help us celebrate by taking a trip down memory lane! 📸 Send us your old Wheel-a-Thon photos from years past so we can share some of our favorite throwback moments throughout the week. We’d especially love to see photos from our alumni families!

🚲 WHEEL-A-THON RIDER SCHEDULE 🚲

Our students are ready to ride! Please review your child’s scheduled ride time for Friday, September 25:

🟡 Kindergarten: 8:20–8:40 AM
🔴 Grades 3 & 4: 8:30–9:15 AM
🔵 Grade 1: 8:45–9:15 AM
🔴 Grades 5 & 6: 9:20–10:05 AM
🔵 Grade 2: 9:20–9:50 AM
🟢 Preschool: 9:55–10:10 AM
🔴 Grades 7 & 8: 10:10–11:00 AM

Separate routes allow multiple grade levels to ride safely at the same time.

🌭 A hot dog, potato chips and water will be provided to every student for lunch.

Students should still bring their regular water bottles to use throughout the event.

We can’t wait to cheer on our riders! Together, we go further! 💚🧡

This week, our St. Agnes community is focusing on the virtue of Generosity, related to the virtue of Justice.

Generosity reminds us that we all have something meaningful to give. Whether through our time, talents, or treasure, we are called to share ourselves willingly and cheerfully for the good of others, just as Jesus so generously shares His love with us.

Our Saint of Note this week is St. Fabiola, whose life reminds us of the beauty of serving and caring for others.

Continue the conversation at home by asking your child: What does generosity look like to you? How can you be generous to someone this week?

🙏💚 Celebrating Father Luke 💚🙏

This week, we had the joy of celebrating Father Luke and showing him just how much he means to our St. Agnes community!

We are incredibly grateful for the way Father Luke is so present and involved in the life of our school. From celebrating Mass and guiding our students in their faith, to spending time on campus, supporting our families, and simply being there for the everyday moments, his presence is such a blessing.

Father Luke, thank you for knowing our students, loving our families, supporting our faculty and staff, and helping keep Christ at the center of all we do. You are truly loved and appreciated by our entire St. Agnes community! ☘️

✨ Education in Virtue | Weekly Wednesday Reflection ✨

This week, our St. Agnes community is focusing on the virtue of Obedience, related to the virtue of Justice. 💚💛

Obedience teaches us to listen to rightful authority and respond promptly, joyfully, and completely. At school, our students are learning what this looks like in their everyday lives—listening carefully, following directions the first time, and doing so without complaint.

Our Saint of Note this week is St. Matthew, whose feast day is September 21. ✝️

As you continue this week’s reflection at home, ask your child about the virtue of Obedience. What have they learned about it? How can they practice it at home, at school, and in their relationships with others?

May we continue growing together in virtue and faith. 🙏

Education in Virtue | Weekly Wednesday Reflection

This week, our St. Agnes community is focusing on the virtue of Moderation, rooted in Temperance. Moderation reminds us to seek balance in our lives, setting healthy limits and making thoughtful choices in how we spend our time, use technology, enjoy activities, and care for ourselves.

May we ask Jesus to guide our choices and help us recognize that even the small decisions we make each day can help us grow in virtue.

Dear Jesus, lead us on Your way of happiness. Amen.
