This Week at RRES 💜🩵

This was the final week of the school year at RRES! We celebrated our 5th Grade Promotion, enjoyed a wonderful staff luncheon, and shared a special farewell as students waved goodbye from the buses and teachers waved back, wrapping up another amazing year with the Roadrunners.

As we look ahead to next year, we are excited for new opportunities, new memories, and another amazing year together. Stay motivated, keep believing in yourselves, and remember that every new beginning brings new chances to grow and succeed! 💜🩵

This week at RRES: 🎉

Students celebrated their benchmark achievements with grade level popsicles, and teachers worked with small groups to reteach and reinforce important skills. Because learning never stops at Rocky River! 📚

Kindergarteners also enjoyed a hands-on lesson with firefighters and police officers, learning about safety, service, and teamwork. 🚒👮‍♂️

We are gearing up for our final week of the school year. We are very excited about all the end-of-year celebrations! 🎉

Don't forget! We have our mobile food pantry TONIGHT from 5:00-6:00!

What an incredible week at Rocky River Elementary!

We officially wrapped up the Reading and Science EOGs, and we could not be prouder of our students for the focus, perseverance, and determination they showed throughout testing. A huge thank you to Ms. Norris and Ms. Barnette for creating the beautiful motivational posters that encouraged and inspired our students all week long! ✨

Our teachers are already diving into math review, reteaching key concepts, and pulling small groups to help students feel confident and prepared for next week’s Math EOG. Their dedication to student success is amazing!

We also ended Teacher Appreciation Week with a special pizza lunch to celebrate the amazing educators who pour so much love and energy into our school each and every day. We appreciate our teachers more than words can say! 🍕

Teacher Appreciation Week has been extra special at Rocky River! 🥤✨

Today, our staff enjoyed a fun Throwback Soda Shop filled with nostalgic drinks. We also want to give a huge thank you to Hendrick Motorsports for sponsoring a catered breakfast bar complete with yogurt, fresh fruit, hot sandwiches, and more!

This is the second time this week our teachers have been spoiled, and we are so grateful for the community support shown to our amazing staff. They truly deserve it!
