Last week, at Rocky River Elementary School , we celebrated Friday with NFL jersey day. Throughout the week, students have been diligently following their instructional routines. From the 5th grade to Kindergarten, students are learning, growing, and thriving at Rocky River thanks to the dedication of their teachers! Kindergarten students are working on letterland and working on new read-aloud modules to enhance comprehension. Third graders learned about giant sea creatures using the arts and letters curriculum, while first graders concluded their fun science unit on rocks and soil. Thank you for all you do!

This week at RRES!

Learning is in full swing at Rocky River Elementary!

Our kindergarten students are diving into the world of letters through Letterland, bringing sounds and characters to life as they build strong literacy foundations.

Meanwhile, our first graders are working hard to learn classroom routines, build independence, and create positive habits that will help them succeed all year long. They are also exploring soil, rocks, and Earth science as they begin their science learning journey. 🌎🪨

Our fifth graders have been excited to get to know our Student Success Coordinator, Ms. Caldwell, and our new TA, Ms. Rice. Both are already making a positive impact and building great relationships with students! ❤️

We are so proud of our learners and the amazing start they are making this school year!

Just a friendly reminder that Rocky River will dismiss early at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 4th.

Buses will depart at 12:00 PM, and all car riders should also be picked up beginning at 12:00 PM. Please make any necessary arrangements to ensure your child has transportation home at our early dismissal.
