🗳 Another bill that emerged from Committees of Conference this week is HB 1300 - another attempt at implementing school district tax caps. The bill would mandate every town and ward in a city to include a tax cap question on its general election ballot in November...

📝 An amendment being considered by the HB 751 Committee of Conference proposes to cap initial use of open enrollment at 500 students, with the cap growing annually, assuming there is demand.

The new version of Open Enrollment under consideration in Committee of Conference largely mirrors the version of SB 101 that failed to advance on the House floor, but it adds an enrollment cap, along with some other more minor changes.
