As we wrap up our final day of ESY, we're ending the summer with a fun trip to the movie theater to see the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day! 🎬🕷️

Yesterday, we celebrated with a summer BBQ, and today is the perfect way to close out an incredible few weeks together.

Our students have had an amazing start to their summer filled with hiking, fishing, gardening, cooking, charcuterie boards, blueberry picking, canoeing, scavenger hunts, Summer Olympics, arts and crafts, and so much more. Most importantly, they've built friendships, strengthened social skills, and created memories that will last long after ESY ends.

Thank you to our amazing staff, students, and families for making this such a successful and fun-filled summer. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and wonderful rest of their summer! See you in the fall!💜💚

Yesterday, Parker Hiking Club completed a 4,000-footer...Mt. Tecumseh!

The group hiked just under 5 miles round trip and climbed about 2,200 feet in elevation. It's essentially a 2.5-mile staircase on the way up, so this was no small accomplishment.

I'm happy to share that our students did great. They overcame a few challenges along the way, encouraged one another, and maintained really positive attitudes throughout the day. Nick and I had a great time getting to know them better through a challenging feat!

I'm hoping to squeeze in one more hike in August before we head back to school, so stay tuned!

In the meantime, here are a few pictures from yesterday's adventure. It was a really fun day.

It's hard to believe we only have one more week of ESY left! We've had an incredible summer!

We're looking forward to wrapping up ESY with some exciting activities and celebrations at the end of the week.🌞🎉

Week 2 of Parker Academy's ESY was one for the books! ☀️💜💚

Our students stayed busy with even more outdoor adventures and hands-on learning. This week included:
🎣 Fishing
🛶 Canoeing
🌱 Gardening
🫐 Blueberry Picking
🧀 Creating a delicious charcuterie board
🏅 Our very own Summer Olympic Games

Every activity is an opportunity to build teamwork, confidence, independence, and have fun while making lasting summer memories. We can't wait to see what the rest of ESY has in store!

It's been an action-packed summer filled with adventure, learning, and hands-on experiences! Our students have been:

Last Friday, we had the privilege of celebrating our Parker Academy Class of 2026! 🎓

It was a wonderful day filled with reflection, pride, and celebration as we honored our four graduates and all they have accomplished during their time at Parker Academy. Each student has shown tremendous growth, resilience, and determination, and we could not be prouder of the young adults they have become.

A special highlight of the ceremony was one of our seniors closing out the event with a beautiful piano performance and song. It was a heartfelt and memorable moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the day.

To our graduates, thank you for being such an important part of the Parker Academy community. We are excited to see what the future holds for each of you and wish you all the success, happiness, and opportunities that lie ahead.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! Your Parker Academy family will always be cheering you on!

Happy last week of school! This Friday, June 12th, is our last day of school, where we will have our Bridge & Award Ceremony!

This is where we celebrate each and every student. All of their accomplishments and the year we have had. Each student will receive an award. After the awards we will have a BBQ to follow. Please invite your friends and family members and join us in celebrating our Parker Academy students. Please RSVP as soon as possible if you have not done so already.

What a perfect day for the beach! ☀️🌊 We lucked out with beautiful weather yesterday and made some amazing memories. A few of our students and even some brave staff members were bold enough to take a dip in the chilly ocean water! 🥶🌊 Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a fun and memorable day.
