A discussion during ATA annual day with Dr. Constantine V. Nakassis, Associate professor of Anthropology in the University of Chicago. In this discussion, Dr. Nakassis answers a wide range of questions in Tamil.
He converses in Tamil on a wide range topics like challenges encountered by Tamil researchers, Tamil cinema, Tamil people and learning Tamil language in America.

American Tamil Academy (ATA) in association with Federation of Tamil Association of North America (FeTNA) will be conducting a 12-week study program to discuss the book “Journey of civilization – Indus to Vaigai”. The plan is to start the program on November 4th, 2022; the group will meet once a week for 90 minutes for 12 consecutive weeks to discuss important chapters from this book. In addition to this, there will also be participation from guest speakers. The author of the book Mr. Balakrishnan IAS will also give special speeches during the program.

The following are highlights of this program:

Anybody above the age of 16 years can participate in this group
All active participants will receive a certificate from FeTNA- ATA at the end of the program
Participants need to actively participate at least 10 weeks of the study program to get the certificate.
