We are excited to welcome Mrs. Madelyn Hansen to our King’s Valley Christian School family as our new 2nd grade teacher! Mrs. Hansen graduated from Grand Canyon University where she earned a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Hansen has a heart for Christian education and is passionate about helping students grow academically and spiritually.

We’re excited to introduce Mr. Mitchel Hansen, who is stepping into the role of Dean of Students at King’s Valley Christian School!
Some of our students and families may already know Mr. Hansen from our Extended Care program and the Life Church family. In his new role, he will partner with students, families, teachers, and administration to help cultivate a positive, safe, and Christ-centered school culture for our K–8 students. Mr. Rilli earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, East Bay, and previously served as a substitute teacher at King’s Valley, where he discovered a passion for teaching and investing in students. As both a King’s Valley parent and now a faculty member, he is excited to partner with families and help students grow academically and in their faith. We are excited for the enthusiasm he brings to our school community!

We’re excited to welcome Ms. Tammie Welence as the new Director of King’s Valley Preschool! With more than 30 years of experience serving children and families through Christian education, Ms. Tammie is passionate about creating Christ-centered environments where every child feels known, loved, and encouraged to discover the unique gifts God has given them. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with our students, families, and staff as they grow together in faith, learning, and community. We can’t wait to see all God will do through her leadership!

After three weeks of hard work, laughter, rehearsals, and unforgettable memories, our amazing young cast is ready to take the stage!

Join us this Saturday for The Wizard of Oz and watch these talented performers bring the magical land of Oz to life. From learning lines and songs to creating friendships that will last long after the final curtain, these kids have poured their hearts into this production—and it shows!

Our incredible graduated 8th-grade cast has spent the week bringing Louisa May Alcott's beloved story to life, and we can't wait to share it with you!
