Over the last year, education freedom has expanded in New Hampshire, but the families at the heart of the EFA program remain the same.

Current data from the new ScholaVia EFA Dashboard show that more than 75% of EFA students qualified under the income limits, even after the program expanded to universal eligibility.

More families can now participate, but economically challenged families remain the overwhelming majority of those the program serves.

Universal eligibility expanded access to education freedom without leaving behind the families who have long relied on the EFA program.

Children’s Scholarship Fund Launches Live EFA Dashboard, Expanding Public Access to Program Data

Children’s Scholarship Fund has launched a new public dashboard through ScholaVia, building on CSF’s commitment to transparency and accountability by giving families, policymakers and the public a live look at New Hampshire’s Education Freedom Account program as participation changes throughout the school year.

Users can explore statewide and community-level data on eligible students, the waitlist, priority status, income qualification and special needs, including data for individual New Hampshire cities and towns.

And the data tell an important story: more than 75% of EFA students qualified under the income limits, even after eligibility expanded.

📰 12,500 students. Thousands of individual family decisions.

Behind every Education Freedom Account is a family asking a simple question: What educational path will best meet the needs of my child?

5 years into New Hampshire’s EFA program, families have filled 2 consecutive enrollment caps, 2 waitlists have formed, and 12,500 students are now participating.

Taken together, those choices tell a larger story about education freedom in New Hampshire. The debate over EFAs will continue in Concord, but around kitchen tables across the state, families are making decisions of their own.
