🌿 Still Looking for Summer Fun? We have 4 Camps Left! ☀️

Our campers have been spending their summer exploring creeks, building forts, hunting for bugs, tracking wildlife, making nature crafts, playing games, climbing trees, splashing in water, and discovering the wonders of the forest.

The smiles, confidence, friendships, and creativity we’ve seen grow over the past three weeks have been incredible. ❤️

🌿 At Wild Hearts Nature School, children spend their days climbing, exploring creeks, building forts, catching bugs, and connecting deeply with the natural world. We believe this kind of childhood is incredibly valuable — and we also believe preparation and awareness help keep those experiences safe and positive.

Nature comes with a few manageable risks like ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes, and poison ivy, but with simple routines and good communication, children can explore confidently while families feel informed and prepared.

Our approach is not about fear or overprotection.
It’s about teaching children how to move through the outdoors with awareness, confidence, and respect for nature.

A few small habits make a big difference:
✔️ Applying bug spray before outdoor play
✔️ Wearing appropriate clothing for wooded areas
✔️ Washing up and checking skin after time outside
✔️ Encouraging children to speak up if something feels uncomfortable

These simple steps help support both freedom and safety — allowing children to enjoy all the benefits of outdoor play, curiosity, resilience, movement, creativity, and connection.
