Have you ever thought about what happens before during and after you defend yourself in your home, or out on the street?
Here are the three hurdles you need to jump to have a relatively normal life after a self defense incident.

1) SURVIVE!
Proper training and pre- incident planning will increase your chances of survival.

Blended training incorporating live fire training out on the range, and reality based force on force training (Simunition) with credentialed instructors in the shoot house.
Practice, Practice, and more Practice.
Most people really aren’t as good as they think they are. Especially when stress becomes a factor. Most people are not training under real stress.

2) STAY OUT OF PRISON!
Knowing self defense laws, permissive, and more importantly, non-permissive places to carry are critical! NH residents should be well versed in NH 627:4 and 159:26.
Gun owners should have a self defense insurance policy that covers all lawful uses of self defense in criminal and civil incidents. The USCCA is a great membership that covers both along with quality online training. They cover bail/ bond and all costs associated with a criminal self defense case. They also cover up to 2 million in a civil settlement.

3) KEEP YOUR STUFF!
Keep all the wealth you have acquired your entire life. Don’t lose everything you own because you weren’t prepared financially. You can win a criminal case and still be liable in a civil lawsuit. NH has some safeguards for this but it is not 100%.
