Longleaf Middle Richland School District Two was in the building today! 🚗🔥 Students jumped into our Build-a-Car Challenge, designing, building, and racing their cars—and the competition was REAL. The girls raced their way to first place today… let’s go! 🏁👏

After celebrating with pizza, they got an up-close look at real race cars in the Cup garage and wrapped up the day with a walk to the iconic start-finish line. What a day! Thanks for spending it with us, Longleaf Middle! 🚦✨

Another great week at STEAM at Charlotte Motor Speedway with over 500 students joining us. Our most popular stations were Speed & Acceleration, Grips & Slips, and Energy Moves, plus one group took on the Build-a-Car challenge.

It was a fun, high-energy week, and we want to thank all the schools for visiting. We hope you had an amazing experience with us! 🚗⚡️

✨ Homeschool Day at STEAM was a hit! ✨

We had an incredible day with 50+ homeschool students diving into hands-on learning across all grade levels. From exploring sound, wind, elastic, chemical, electrical, and mechanical energy to building and testing their own creations, the energy was high all day long!

To top it off, students ended their experience with a lap around the track and a visit to Victory Circle 🏁

What an amazing week of STEAM! We welcomed 4 schools and over 400 students, teachers, and parents who rotated through 3 hands-on STEAM stations. The energy, creativity, and teamwork made this week a huge success! 💡✨

ACE Academy showed up and showed out at STEAM 🚗⚡️

Students teamed up in pairs to build their own pulley cars, then put them to the test on the track—big races, big energy, and we crowned a winner! 🏁🥇

After the race, we asked the students which subject from STEAM was their favorite… and the answers did not disappoint 😄

First Feedback Friday of 2026! 🎉

We kicked off the new year with 3 awesome schools and over 200 students. Some explored our 3-station rotation while others built and raced their own cars down the track!

They even got to see a real race car up close — and one student said after riding on the track he wants to be a race car driver! 🚗💨
