As the semester came to a close, the community enjoyed over a dozen recitals from the Individual Music Instruction (IMI) students in the Music Recital Hall and the Large Ensemble Room. Congratulations to all of our music students on fabulous final performances!

Despite a little rain, the spirit of community was shining bright at Umoja and the Community & Equity Office’s annual Cookout on May 15. Held in the SHAC, the event brought students, faculty, and staff together for an evening of great food and music from across the Black diaspora. Thank you to everyone who attended!

Last Friday, Concord Academy celebrated the Class of 2026 with a Commencement ceremony centered on the power of belonging. Commencement speaker Amy Rosenfeld ’84, senior vice president of Olympics and Paralympics production at NBC Sports, encouraged graduates to embrace their individuality, pursue their own paths with confidence, and make a meaningful impact on the world. Kinetic Echoes, this year’s spring Dance Project performance, directed by Patrick John O’Neill, explored memory, emotion, and human connection through original student choreography, immersive staging, and atmospheric music and lighting. CA welcomed nearly 250 alums back to campus for Reunion May 16 through 17, with special celebrations honoring classes ending in 1 and 6. Under beautiful spring skies, alums enjoyed class visits, campus tours, forums, and arts performances as generations of community members came together to reconnect and celebrate the CA experience.
