We took several pictures as alumni stopped in. It was so great to see our alums. I think the only year we didn’t have anyone from was 2022….but we will get you next time! 🙂 thanks so much for stopping in, reminiscing, and hanging out for a while, West Cabarrus Band Alums. Hey Marching Wolverines!!!

So…..I have the first movement of the show in midi audio format….Mr Lloyd said he would have printed music for me by tomorrow.

Stop by the band room at 2pm tomorrow (June 9th) to get your music and hear the audio of the 1st movement of the 2026 show for the first time! It will be brief. I’ll play the show for the current band as we are releasing the alumni (maybe you can see some of them too!) from their drop in event and then you can grab your music and go. 🙂 if you can’t make it, I will post it on our band website, but thought it would be fun for us all to hear it together! Hope to see you tomorrow at 2:00pm. I’ll test the audio equipment well in advance this time. 😉

West Cabarrus Band Alumni!

I want to plan things for you to participate in and would love to reconnect with you. It doesn’t matter what year you graduated, but I would love to see you and catch up a little. Tuesday, June 9th from 11am-2pm please stop by the band room to say hi! Chat with and reconnect with other alums. I’ll bring some light snacks and sodas and water. I would love to hear about how things have been since you graduated and to share with you what has been going on in the West Cabarrus Band Program (yes, color guard is a part of the band program!). I will also have a short Google form for you to fill out to let me know what dates or times of the year you would be able to participate in alumni band events and what types of events you might want to do. I hope to see you Tuesday. Drop in when you can between 11am and 2pm. Don’t worry. I won’t take attendance and you won’t need a note if you’re late! 😉 I hope you all are doing well and if you can’t make it, I’ll share the Google form after the event and you can still fill it out so hopefully you can join us for future events.

Mini camp 2026 was a success! The team has started to bond, we’ve laid a good foundation, and I’m so excited to see where we go from here! Marching Wolverines, please have a safe, happy and healthy summer and I’ll see you back on July 20!

Day 3 of mini camp! Lots of marching, spinning, rehearsing, drumming…..so excited about this season! Great job, West Cabarrus High School Marching Wolverines!

Day 2 of mini camp and we added instruments to the block. We didn’t get many percussion or color guard pictures today since they were inside trying different set ups, but they were hard at work too. Such great things happening in day 2 and we even started learning the Star Spangled Banner and West Cabarrus Fight Song (Red, Silver, Black!)

Day 1 of Marching Wolverine mini camp! Excited to welcome the largest marching band West Cabarrus has had since our opening. I know it’s going be a great season. Great job on day 1, Marching Wolverines! Hydrate, get some rest, and tomorrow we continue the party. Great job today!
