Coach Ed's infamous Loop Choke ➰️

We couldn't be more proud of Coach Ed's performance at the recent IBJJF Masters Worlds in the highly competitive M2 Brown Belt Lightweight division. From start to finish, he showcased his game quickly and gave it his all.

One of the standout moments of the match was Ed's signature loop choke attempt. Known for his precision and tenacity with the ex*****on of this choke, Ed set up the choke beautifully. As his opponent tried to posture in and escape, Ed remained composed, expertly adjusting his grip to keep the pressure on fot near 2 minutes of the 5 minute match.

Though the choke wasn't fully secured, the attempt showcased Ed's tenacity and ability to capitalize on every opportunity. It was a reminder of why he's such a formidable competitor and a coach who leads by example.

Ed's match was a testament to the hard work, dedication, and countless hours of training he puts in day in and day out. Beyond the medals, it's moments like these that define what it means to be a martial artist — the willingness to push boundaries, take risks, and leave everything on the mat.
