Dear Sunshine House Families,

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share that our Sunshine House community has experienced two unimaginable tragedies this week.

On Sunday, one of our currently enrolled infants lost their mother and oldest sister in a fatal car accident.

Then on Monday, a family who was part of our Sunshine House community for four years was involved in a tragic car accident, and their beautiful 4-year-old daughter lost her life.

Our Sunshine House family has always been built on love, compassion, and supporting one another through life’s most difficult moments. As a community, we want these families to know they are not alone.

For those who would like to help, we will be collecting monetary donations as well as gift cards for groceries, gas, restaurants, and other everyday necessities. Donations may be brought to the front office through July 10, 2026. All donations will be distributed directly to the families to help support them during this incredibly difficult time.

If you are unable to give, we simply ask that you keep these families in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness, compassion, and support mean more than words can express.

Thank you for helping us surround these families with the love and care that make Sunshine House more than just a school—it is a family.
