We're excited to welcome Barbara Mullin as the newest addition to our board of directors. Barbara and her husband, George, have owned and operated Souhegan Valley Motorsports for the last 20 years. In 2022, they established the Scott M. Mullin Memorial Scholarship Fund at MCC in memory of their son, and in 2025 expanded the fund to NCC and NHTI, opening doors for students.

The Foundation for New Hampshire Community Colleges (The Foundation) recently expanded its board of directors with the addition of Barbara Mullin.

We're thrilled to share that for the third year in a row, the Community College System of NH is the only institution in New Hampshire selected for funding through the Metallica Scholars Initiative! This year's $25,000 grant will support the Culinary Arts & Sustainable Foodways program at Great Bay Community College, helping offset the cost of attendance for students building real careers in the seacoast's thriving restaurant industry.

Since 2019, this partnership has brought $150,000 in support to CCSNH students in welding, aviation technology, massage therapy and culinary arts. Thank you to Metallica and All Within My Hands Foundation for continuing to invest in the next generation of skilled tradespeople right here in the Granite State!

Bryan Adams earned his electrical degree at Lakes Region Community College while working a daytime apprenticeship. Years later, that degree set him apart from every other applicant for an estimating job, a move that launched his climb to Vice President of Preconstruction at DP Electric Inc. This is the kind of opportunity your support helps make possible.
