Katiana Berry left high school with two things: her diploma and an Associate Teacher Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Nashua Community College.

She earned the degree online during her senior year of high school, while already working at Manchester Child Care Center. Thanks to grants that covered nearly all of her Early College costs, she paid almost nothing.

"Great Bay gave me the foundation to succeed." That's how Rain Ashley Jelley describes her time at Great Bay Community College.

Rain came back to college as a working adult, earned her accounting degree, and has already been promoted to staff accountant at Sprague Operating Resources LLC.

Welcome to our board of directors, Barbara Mullin. For 20 years, Barbara and her husband, George, have run Souhegan Valley Motorsports in Amherst. In 2022, they created a scholarship honoring their son, Scott, that helps NH students build powersports careers.

The Foundation for New Hampshire Community Colleges (The Foundation) recently expanded its board of directors with the addition of Barbara Mullin.

Sixteen NH high school students spent four weeks this summer learning the math behind AI at Lakes Region Community College, in partnership with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

LRCC is one of only two community colleges in the country hosting the pilot. Students came from many places where advanced STEM courses simply aren't offered. They learned linear algebra, then used it on real projects.

Jason Olenio graduated from NHTI-Concord's Community College in 1992 with a degree in Radiologic Technology. 34 years later, he came back to campus to install the new X-ray equipment that today's students will train on.

We're excited to welcome Barbara Mullin as the newest addition to our board of directors. Barbara and her husband, George, have owned and operated Souhegan Valley Motorsports for the last 20 years. In 2022, they established the Scott M. Mullin Memorial Scholarship Fund at MCC in memory of their son, and in 2025 expanded the fund to NCC and NHTI, opening doors for students.
