Today in Discovery Lab, we went on a bug hunt! Armed with magnifying glasses and tweezers, our explorers searched high and low for insects and bugs while practicing observation, focus, and fine motor skills.

Every tiny discovery led to big excitement! 🐜🦋🐛

Ants on a... marshmallow? 🐜✨
Today in the Discovery Lab, our little chefs turned into food scientists for a special cooking class! We used our fine motor skills to pinch, poke, and assemble some very sweet “ants” using marshmallows, pretzel sticks, and raisins.

Our little artists went nuts for art time today! 🐿️🎨
We practiced our fine motor skills by tearing, crunching, and gluing colorful tissue paper to make the fluffiest, brightest squirrels in the forest. Swiping through to see some of these masterpieces!

This June, we’re focusing on the best one of all: Helpfulness! Our new monthly affirmation is: "I am helpful. I enjoy doing things for others."

We’re teaching the children that when they lend a hand, they aren’t just doing a task—they’re making their world a better, happier place. Helping others boosts their mood, strengthens their friendships, and builds a "can-do" spirit!

X marks the spot in the Discovery Lab today! ❌🥣
We had so much fun learning the letter X! The kiddos practiced tracing the shape with their fingers, then used Kix cereal to glue on their cool tactile letter. Building those fine motor skills has never been so sweet!
