It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of our friend and former RTB member, Fred Trujillo. While he was well enough to attend meetings, Fred was one of RTB’s most devoted and diligent members, and always brought humor and positivity to the meetings. He even continued to support and encourage the club once he could no longer attend due to his illness. I’ll always remember Fred for his warm heart and uplifting spirit and humor. He will be dearly missed. Here is a clip of Fred competing in the Area table topics contest.

RTB Toastmasters regular scheduled meeting is canceled tonite. Happy Halloween / Harvest Night! Join us tonight at the Dollarhide Community Center for an awesome time for all ages! Compton Open Mic is also tonight, same location. Free food, candy, petting zoo, flame throwers 😅, and more! 5pm to 10pm, 301 N Tamarind.

RTB meetings are Thursdays! 7pm to 8pm, Explorer1 Ambulance Services ~ 1040 E Compton Blvd Compton CA! We have the arena for practicing effective communication, leadership skills, for overall personal growth. Enjoy the Toastmasters experience while listening to a host of dynamic speakers, participating in table topics, giving and receiving evaluation feedback. Guest speakers, poets, rappers, story tellers are always welcome, signup to be on the agenda weekly. Join our club.
