Heads Up for I-75 Travelers!

If you’re planning to drive through Saginaw County this spring and summer, be prepared for major delays on I-75. MDOT is kicking off a $2.9 million maintenance project on the Saginaw River bridge, which means full closures in both directions at different times.

Here’s what you need to know:

🚧 Southbound closures start April 14 and run through June 27.

🚧 Northbound closures begin in July and continue into November.

🚧 Traffic will be detoured via I-675 between Kochville and Buena Vista Townships.

🚧 The southbound ramps at Adams Road and I-75 will also be closed.

The project includes joint repairs, deck patching, and resealing to extend the bridge’s lifespan. If you’re traveling in the area, plan ahead and expect detours!
