We are proud to announce that several of our TSA members have qualified for the upcoming State Conference. For many of these students, this represents their first year of competitive success in the organization.
To support their journey and assist with conference fees, we will be providing pulled pork sandwich lunches on Friday, April 10th. Each meal includes a sandwich, chips, a cookie, and a bottle of water, with deliveries beginning at 11:00 AM.

State Leadership Conference Day 3
The last day always starts bright and early for our voting delegates and this year our state officers as well. The business meeting (General Session II) and the advisors meeting started at 8:00am. General Session III (Awards) followed. Jonathan and Sophia did a wonderful job with all of their duties the entire conference and represented us well on stage. All of the members did their best on their competitions and most importantly learned a lot. Some of them earned the right to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN this summer.
1st Place (AKA State Champions) Forensic Science- Jonathan Stebbins *Note- Go back to day 2 and look at the photo of them getting ready and you will see why they nailed it.

2nd Place Jr. Solar Sprint- Journee McSlarrow, Kennedy Hanson, & Naveyah Rodriguez

State Leadership Conference Day 1 Recap
Day 1 really started after school on the 8th when we loaded up and started our journey to Norman. We ate dinner and went on our annual trip to Walmart before settling in. Official Day 1 of the conference was full of competitions. For most of these students it was there first time competiting at the state level. After dinner we headed to General Session I where we spent a good amount of time on stage receiving varias awards members earned throughout the year. Our Regional Officers, Victor and Elijah were recognised after the Miracle Minute. After General Session, Jonathan attended the Alumni and Graduating Senior Reception where he got his Alumni pin and gave a quick presentation on his time in TSA.
Jonathan received a $500 TSA Scholarship and honor cords for Distinguished Senior for attending the State Conference all four years of high school.
The Middle School Chapter earned Silver Level Chapter of Excellence.
The High School Chapter earned Gold Level Chapter of Excellence and preferential seating at General Session III.
Jonathan received his Presidential Degree pin.
Abby received her Senatorial Degree pin.

On February 26th, we hosted the Eastern Region Conference at NEO. There were approximately 600 middle school and high school members in attendance, a new record. Regional officer elections were held as well as competitive events. We had 36 members compete between the two chapters. Victor Lopez and Elijah Lee ran for office. Unfortunately, we do not have pictures of them campaigning. It was a hectic day due mostly to the terrible weather the week before. Elijah was elected Eaten Region Reporter. Victor was elected Eaten Region President. Dominic Harter represented us well while fulfilling his role as Treasurer on the 2024-2025 officer team. While we didn't bring home as many medals as we would have liked, we did have a few place in the top 3 with their events qualifying then to go to the State Leadership Conference.
Jonathan Stebbins- 1st Photographic Technology
Jonathan Stebbins & Talan Rhodes- 3rd Forensic Science
Sophia Highley- State Qualifier Prepared Presentation

It's high time we catch everyone up on what we have been doing this semester.
February 25th was CTSO Day at the Capital. State officers from all of the Careertech Student Organizations participated. Not only were Sophia and Jonathan there but so was Dylan who now spends his time leading BPA with all of the skills he developed in our chapter. Students watched the House conduct business before meeting with representatives. Jonathan and Sophia met with Representative Steve Bashore. After asking questions and an informative discussion, they received a quick tour of the floor. After lunch and pictures, members watch the House conduct business before heading home.
