This week at Tiny Tigers Daycare, our students celebrated Juneteenth by learning about the importance of freedom, equality, and American history. Through age-appropriate activities, stories, crafts, and discussions, we explored the significance of Juneteenth and why it remains an important day of reflection and celebration.

At Tiny Tigers, we believe in creating opportunities for children to learn about diverse cultures, historical events, and the values of kindness, respect, and inclusion. We are proud to help our young learners build an understanding of the world around them while celebrating the rich history and contributions of others.

🌊🐠 Our Preschool Room explored an ocean sensory bin this week! The children had so much fun discovering sea animals, scooping and pouring, and using their imaginations to create their own underwater adventures. Sensory play helps develop fine motor skills, language, creativity, and hands-on learning while having fun! 🐚🦀💙

We loved watching their excitement as they explored the ocean right in our classroom! 🌊✨

🎬🍿 First movie day in Joplin of the summer! Our kiddos had an amazing time enjoying the big screen and making memories with friends. We are so excited for all the fun summer adventures ahead! ☀️❤️

☀️💦 Our 3–5-year-old group had so much fun at our first splash pad day of the summer! The kids enjoyed cooling off, playing with friends, and making wonderful summer memories. We can’t wait for many more splash pad adventures this season! 💙🌊😊

☀️🏊 Our 6+ group had a blast at our first pool day of the summer today! The kids had so much fun swimming, playing, and making great memories with their friends. We are looking forward to many more fun-filled pool days this summer! 😎💦🌊

We are so excited to share our June 2026 Summer Activity Calendar! From pool days and splash pads to movies, sno-cones, and fun field trips, we have an exciting month planned for our kiddos! 💦🍿 And thanks to the MODOC tribe, pool days are free! 🙌

Please make sure to read over the calendar carefully for activity times, age groups, and items children will need to bring on water days. Permission slips must be completed before any field trips.
