...and in just 24 hours, look what our community did! 🚌🧊💧

A grassroots effort started last night, and by this morning, coolers, bottled water, and ice were being delivered to our Transportation Department to help keep our bus riders, drivers, and monitors cool and hydrated.

A HUGE Tiger thank you to Commerce Fire-Rescue, Commerce Police Department, Flying L, Sonic, and Lion's Den Nutrition & Energy for stepping up so quickly! 🧡🖤

And behind every community effort are people willing to make it happen. Thank you to David & Shavelle Wallace and Forrest & Brittany Dickson for organizing, gathering, and delivering!

You saw a need, and you helped meet it.

The FIRST Friday Night Lights of the fall are here, and we are kicking things off with Meet the Tiger Night!

Come help us celebrate our youth programs, Roaring Tiger Band, CMS athletes, and CHS athletes as they are introduced to the community!

This is our first pep rally of the year, and we want Tiger Stadium packed with orange, black, and plenty of Tiger pride. 🧡🖤

Bring the family. Bring the noise. Bring the ROAR.

We hope to see YOU tonight! GO TIGERS! 🐯

Sometimes moving forward means saying goodbye to a place that holds a whole lot of memories. 🧡🖤

As Commerce ISD continues building for the future, we wanted to take one more look back at the former Commerce High School and Commerce Middle School.

For generations of Tigers, this building meant classrooms, ball games, band practices, friendships, favorite teachers, and countless memories. But after years of service, the building had reached a point where it was no longer a healthy environment for our students and staff.

We love our new Commerce Middle School and all that it offers today's Tigers, but we will always hold onto the memories made in the halls that came before it. Tiger Alumni, tell us your favorite memory from this building and year of graduation in the comments!

Cleanup of the former site is nearly complete, and the property will be returned to green space. There are currently no plans for future use of the property.

Buildings may come and go, but the memories made inside them become part of Tiger history. 🐯

We love being part of the Commerce community! 🐯🧡

Last Friday, our Roaring Tiger Band and Tiger Cheer helped celebrate the Walmart Grand Re-Opening with plenty of Tiger spirit! 📣🎶

Strong schools and strong communities go hand in hand, and we are thankful for the local businesses that support our students, staff, and families throughout the year. We are always proud when our Tigers get the chance to return that support and show up for Commerce!

🏅 Announcing the 2026 Commerce ISD Hall of Honor Inductees!

For 15 years, the Hall of Honor has celebrated Tigers whose lives, leadership, and accomplishments have left a lasting mark on Commerce ISD. We are proud to welcome the 2026 class:

🧡 Mr. Blake Cooper, Posthumous
Former Commerce ISD Superintendent, founder of the Commerce ISD Hall of Honor, and Region 10 Superintendent of the Year.

🖤 Mr. James Clark, Posthumous
Commerce ISD graduate and educator who founded the Roaring Tiger Band program in the 1930s, beginning a tradition that continues today.

🧡 Mr. Shawn Droddy
Commerce ISD graduate, quarterback of the 2001 State Championship football team, and the first CISD graduate to serve as a Texas Ranger.

🖤 Dr. Debra Nelson, CHS Class of 1972
Former Deputy Superintendent of Frisco ISD, where Nelson Middle School bears her name, and a continued supporter of Commerce ISD through her service on the CSEEF Foundation Board.

Please join us as we celebrate their stories and their place in Tiger history.

The Hawk Crosswalk Beacon system is designed to protect Lion students 🦁💙 and keep traffic moving — but it only works when drivers know how to respond.

✅ Review the signal sequence
✅ Know when to STOP and when to GO
✅ Help CISD buses move safely and efficiently every day
