"Music Advantage is excited to welcome Kyle Marker to the studio teaching staff! Kyle has a Bachelor of Instrumental Performance from Oakland University and has been teaching full-time for almost eight years. He has a passion for passing on solid music education. An cool-fact about Kyle is that he likes to make arrangements of video-game music for instruments. Kyle is available to teach Guitar, Piano, Bass Guitar, and Ukulele. We are open - IN PERSON!
School Band and Choir instructors are doing the best they can to help students, with virtual learning being their only option. WXYZ TV interviewed the Superintendent of Rochester Schools who admitted that public school online instruction cannot fully replace an in-person experience when it comes to Instrumental and Vocal Music.

PBS recently interviewed Roger Hodgson of the group "Supertramp". Roger stated that he wrote the hit "Give a Little Bit" when he was around 16 years old. He also noted that he kept the song to himself for quite a while before his bandmates convinced him to share it with them. This reminds me of many of our young composers at the studio. To our pre-adult students: Dont underestimate your creative abilities and dont be afraid to copyright and share your songs with the world!

"Give a Little Bit" was in the Top 10 in many countries around the world once it was released and number 15 on the Billboard Pop Singles Chart!
