Today is the first official practice for fall sports! We will start at 3:00 PM on the football field. Moving forward practices will be from 3:00 PM to 6:15 PM daily.

2026-2027 Fall Athletics Registration

Today we start a 2 week padded camp before season starts in August. Practice will be from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM daily. We will start in the small gym the first few days to get equipment/lockers assigned. If you plan on joining football or are an incoming freshman you should REALLY plan on attending this camp as we will be installing and going over a lot of information the next two weeks. Please be sure to be hydrating all day long today BEFORE coming to practice. We will have water available, but it will be a good idea to bring your own water bottle daily.

We finished up our conditioning camp with a bang! Here's a quick breakdown:
Weight room-4 hours
Cone agility drills - 1 hour
Defense alignment/assignment to angle pursuit sprints - 1 hour
Offensive alignment/assignment to tempo perfect plays - 1 hour

Then after 3 days of killing the weight room and grinding in the sun on the football field we finished yesterday with a 300 workout where the boys finished 300 reps of 10 different lifts/plyometrics with a 50 yard sprint between them and THEN a 3 mile team run around our home! It was amazing to watch them come together as brothers to make sure everyone finished! Everyone drivinig by on Quebec and honking at the team was so cool. It meant a lot to the boys to see Commerce City has our back! It's going to be a special season!

Next week we start a 2 week padded camp and finish with the 2026 GREEN VS ORANGE inner squad scrimmage and a flag day where the boys will have the last mental/physical test of the summer to earn their flags for the pregame runout. All this before the season officially starts the first week of August!

The 2026 edition of Adams City High School Eagle Football is just around the corner!We have had the best summer strength and conditioning and 7v7 that we've ever had! Now it's time to keep building our momentum into the season! We are excited to start our football conditioning camp today at Adams City to get ready for the wars ahead. This week is meant to be a catalyst to build self BELIEF, which leads to team BELIEF. It will be a week of strength, conditioning, football footwork, individual competition and team building. Practice will be 3:45 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday and we will start in the AC weight room every day. You will need running shoes, cleats if you have them, and a water bottle. If you don't have cleats yet it is ok. Do NOT just bring sandals or Crocs as they are not safe in the weight room and we will have running outside as well.

Incoming freshman are also allowed and HIGHLY encouraged to join us!
