Community Notice: Athletic Field Closure
Temporary Fencing to be installed 6/18/26

Dear Residents,

Due to ongoing drought conditions, water restrictions, and the exceptionally dry winter season, our community athletic field is experiencing significant stress and deterioration.


To give the field the best opportunity to recover and remain usable for the upcoming athletic season, we will be temporarily closing the field effective immediately. This decision was not made lightly, but it is necessary to protect and preserve this valuable community asset.


We understand this may be an inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding during this time. Restricting use now will help ensure the field can recover and continue to serve our community in the future.


We will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as they become available.

Join your neighbors for a community clean up on Saturday, June 27, from 8:00 AM–10:00 AM!

This neighbor-led event is being organized by DJ Baca and is a great opportunity to help keep our community clean, beautiful, and welcoming for everyone. Volunteers are automatically entered in a drawing to win a gift card.

A huge thank you to Ambar Hastings from Folded for hosting such a fun and delicious class. The kids had a great time learning, creating, and enjoying some tasty treats!

This summer and fall, Commerce City, Adams County, and Nativity Lutheran Church are partnering to provide free boxes of fresh food to residents starting on June 23.

We now have a new mini fridge to help us store fresh items, and we’ve just stocked up on some new goodies including many bags of tortillas and lots of fresh tomatoes.
