HELP WANTED
Part-Time Front Desk Clerk
Hotel Giles • Comfort, Texas
Hotel Giles is seeking a friendly, dependable person to join our team as a part-time Front Desk Clerk.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, providing warm, old-fashioned hospitality, and taking pride in helping maintain a beautiful property.
Starting pay: $15.00 per hour
Hours
* Thursday: 3:00 PM–8:00 PM
* Friday: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
* Saturday: 2:00 PM–8:00 PM
Responsibilities
* Answer the phone and take guest reservations
* Welcome and assist walk-in guests
* Give walking tours of Hotel Giles to prospective guests and visitors
* Set up and host Hotel Giles Happy Hour, including arranging appetizers and moving light furniture
* Clean up after Happy Hour
* Perform light cleaning in common areas, including:
* Vacuuming
* Sweeping and mopping
* Dusting
* Washing windows
* Fold towels as needed
* Help keep the front desk and public areas neat, welcoming, and guest-ready
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is friendly, personable, and enjoys interacting with people
* Is dependable and takes pride in their work
* Has strong attention to detail
* Is comfortable working independently
* Can lift and move light furniture
* Understands that excellent hospitality is about making guests feel welcome
