Our 6th graders put their critical thinking and discussion skills to work during a Socratic Seminar on Bud, Not Buddy! 📚💬

Students used evidence from the text to support their ideas, listened respectfully to different perspectives, and built on one another's thinking as they explored the novel's themes, characters, and historical context.

We are always impressed by the thoughtful conversations our students can have when given the opportunity to lead the discussion.
