Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness ~ One pill. One choice. One life.

Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid that can be deadly, even in very small amounts. Counterfeit pills and other drugs may contain fentanyl without a person knowing.

Parents and guardians, take time this week to talk with your children about the dangers of counterfeit pills, the risks of taking medications not prescribed to them, and the importance of making safe choices.

If you suspect an overdose, call 911 immediately. Naloxone (Narcan) can reverse an opioid overdose and save a life.
