We are a small private school dedicated to teaching our children to be successful, responsible, and JCS was founded by Eva Lois Johnson McCandless, in 1981.
It is the philosophy of the school to provide for each student a firm, controlled, but kind atmosphere in which to study and learn. A traditional textbook approach and/or our own curriculum development will be led by a teacher in all subjects. Our Story
JCS was founded by Eva Lois Johnson McCandless, in 1981. It is the philosophy of the school to provide for each student a firm, controlled, but kind atmosphere in which to study and learn. The school endeavors to meet the educational needs of each individual in this framework. We teach all subjects from a biblical perspective and a Christian world view.
We offer a variety of activities and academic studies for our students. Students participate in history and science fairs, VFW essay contest, a talent show, and we have an awards night at the end of each year where every student is recognized for their talents and achievements.
We are growing and expanding our buildings so that we can offer our students more services. We are excited for what the future holds for us.
