Hello Parents,

Thank you for being a part of our Open House and Title 1 Parent Assembly on Friday. It was great to see you and your students. Please continue to be a part of your students' educational journey at Key. We have a few reminders. Please help us demonstrate Pride at Key. We ask that no one wears bonnets, sleep wear, and slippers to Key. We want to remind everyone that vapes are not allowed on school campus and that includes in the car rider line. We are always here to support but please be patient while waiting to be seen in our front office. Positive attitudes are important at Key. Verification continues but you must complete Online Registration with current and correct information. Our clerk and secretary will assist you. We ask that you call the school for further instructions. Please encourage your students to eat breakfast daily. Parents are asked to leave campus after eating breakfast with their students. We must have enough room for our students to sit and eat. Parents last day to walk students to class but not in the classroom was August 7, 2026. We would encourage everyone to review our school's handbook and MCSD handbook. Your student's safety is very important to us at Key. Students should only bring a clear or mesh book bag, uniforms, and no hoodies to Key. Parents will have to pick up any book bag that isn't clear or mesh. Attendance is important. School begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2:15 p.m. Students must be picked up from school no later than 2:30 p.m. Please bring excuses for any tardy and students being checked out of school early. Unexcused attendance affects promotion. We look forward to seeing you at our next school event. Thank you for being a part of the Key Family.
