We are located at the corner of Henderson and Sawmill Roads in the First Alliance Church. A ministry of the First Alliance Church, Sunshine Nursery School opened its doors in 1966 with eight children. Founded by church member Onda Armstrong, enrollment at the school grew to 23 within a month. Today, the children, ranging in age from 6 weeks to 10 years (fifth grade), attend the school throughout t

he year. Originally started as an outreach ministry to the surrounding community, Sunshine Nursery School continues to fulfill that mission of instilling spiritual values in children in a loving and caring Christian environment. The school is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Sunshine has been awarded a star rating in the "Step up to Quality" program. Admission is available to all eligible children regardless of race, religion, color, national origin or s*x. Sunshine Nursery School is accredited through ACSI- the Association of Christian Schools International. Sunshine Nursery School has openings to meet the needs of your family. Dear families, this is a warm reminder that our school will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.
We hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday filled with love, rest, and time spent with those who matter most. Wishing safe travels to all who will be on the road! 🧡
