Good morning Families we have 4 weeks left in school
This might be uncomfortable.
But your child is not the victim every time something goes wrong at school.
đź—ŁSometimes they talked when they were told not to.
đź—ŁSometimes they were disrespectful.
🗣Sometimes they didn’t try.
đź—ŁSometimes they didnt follow expectations.
And that doesn’t make them bad.
It makes them children.
What matters is what happens next.
🚫When every correction becomes a defense case…
🚫When parents decide their child doesn't have to be held accountable for their actions....
🚫When every consequence becomes a negotiation…
🚫When every boundary becomes a personal attack…
🚫When parents decide their child can say and act any way in school...
Children learn something.
✔️They start to view authority as something easily challenged.
✔️They come to believe expectations are flexible or negotiable.
✔️They feel that accountability is something unjust rather than part of growth.
Teachers do not enjoy disciplining students.
It slows learning.
It drains energy.
It creates tension and conflict in the classroom.
But without boundaries, classrooms collapse.
The goal isn’t punishment.
It’s preparation and learning positive experiences and expectations.
One day your child will have a boss.
A deadline.
A rule they don’t like.
And no one will email home if they lose their job.
With respect,
A teacher who wants them ready!
