Hear from Liza Musselman, AgOne Alumni: AgOne accelerated my transition from a hands-on individual contributor to a Controller leading a team, providing the leadership skills, confidence, and support needed to succeed in a role where developing people and driving team success became as important as delivering results.
Through leadership assessments, coaching, and cohort experiences, I gained a deeper understanding of my leadership style, strengths, and growth areas. AgOne showed me that effective leadership requires more than technical expertise, challenging me to focus on empowering others, building trust, and creating an environment where teams can thrive.
The one-on-one coaching was especially valuable as I navigated new leadership responsibilities. I applied program concepts directly to challenges such as managing team dynamics, improving communication, delegating effectively, and developing others, which increased my confidence as a leader.
AgOne also connected me with a diverse network of agricultural professionals across Ohio. These relationships broadened my perspective on leadership and strengthened my connection to the state’s agriculture industry.
